At least 3 people were killed over the weekend in different parts of this state. Two were executed in the trunk of a luxury car, abandoned on the La Pera-Cuautla motorway.
A meeting was held between Governor Angel Aguirre Rivero and the coordinator of self defense groups which have formed to combat violence in communities, especially remote and indigenous ones. The Governor announced plans to regulate security.
The murder of a 10 year old girl here, whose body was found maimed and semi burned, was committed by 4 members of the CJNG who mistook her for the daughter of a rival in the drug market in that area. They were arrested and confessed to kidnapping, sexually abusing and then murdering the girl.
