On Monday evening, a child playing in the street became curious about a blanket. Inside was the torso of a man, without a head or limbs. The body was dumped next to a park and elementary school. After initial handling of the scene by police, the case was turned over to state homicide investigators. The following day, people walking home from the market smelled foul odors from plastic bags. Inside were limbs and a head, presumably from the torso. The report says DNA testing will be done.
SAN NICOLAS DE LOS GARZA, NUEVO LEÓN

A few meters from the toll booth, the gunmen’s vehicle overturned, with the gunmen then trying to escape on foot.
Authorities have verified that 5 people have been shot and killed in various municipalities in the state. One of these was found on the highway between Sonoyta and Rocky Point (a community for US retirees).
Unofficial reports are that David Salgado aka the Metro 4 ‘ and a member of high command of the Gulf Cartel was killed during a clash between Reynosa and Matamoros. He was originally from the zone, as he is the son of a former customs agent assigned there.
