24 Honduran Migrants Arrested in Mexico
Mexican authorities arrested 93 undocumented Central American immigrants and three Chinese in the southeast state of Chiapas, which borders Guatemala, reported the Chiapas Secretariat of Public Security on Saturday. A first group of immigrants, comprising 77 people was intercepted on Friday on a farm near the state capital, Tuxtla Gutierrez, following a complaint. Among those arrested were 27 Salvadorans, 24 Hondurans, 23 Guatemalans and three Chinese. Also Friday, federal police intercepted a group of 19 Central American immigrants on a road in Chiapas being transported in a vehicle whose driver was arrested. Each year, thousands of undocumented immigrants, mainly Central American, go from Guatemala to Mexico to cross that country with the intention of reaching the United States.

A gunfight between the military and cartel gunmen resulted in 4 bad guys killed. The Sunday morning incident happened in a residential area.
Mexican Marines discovered a hidden narco laboratory producing methamphetamine. Found were 400 liters of liquid amphetamine and 300 kilograms of the same substance in solid consistency, 27 sacks with caustic soda, five stills of 500 liters, 10 dryers and 8 gas cylinders.
The farm also had 172 plastic drums of different sizes, 59,200 liter cans and 60 plastic containers, 43 buckets with a solid substance, 30 bottles of water and an oxygen tank. This is the fifth narcolaboratorio the Marines have found in less than a month.
Two women and a man were killed, and 2 others injured in a Saturday night attack at a bar. A later report increased the total dead to 6, three of them women.
Two federal police officers, Herminio González Silva, 30 Years old and José Agustín Huerta de los Cobos, were found executed and dumped off a highway.
The head of a man was found placed on the trunk of a taxi along with a narco message.
