Three men were beheaded with the bodies wrapped in plastic bags, and the heads sitting separately on the sidewalk. The men are unidentified. There was a narco message left, signed by the CJNG Mata Zetas.
Two rival groups of gunmen had an intense gunfight in this village, killing four of the gunmen and one innocent civilian.
ECATEPEC, STATE OF MEXICO
The body of a man was dumped on a dirt road between two streets. He had been placed on a piece of cardboard, and then set on fire.
During the afternoon of Friday the 9th, authorities were attacked by gunmen trying to prevent capture of a major cartel boss. The gunmen used firearms, grenades and numerous narco blockades to impede access of the military. A bus was burned, killing one person. A house was also damaged when a van went into it. No further information has yet been released.
