CIUDAD VICTORIA, TAMAULIPAS
An attorney shot down over a week ago has died. His sister, wounded in the right arm, is reportedly now out of danger and recovering.
TIJUANA, BAJA CALIFORNIA
Municipal and state police arrested 3 presumed members of La Familia Michoacana and seized 50 kilos of marijuana.
RIO BLANCO, VERACRUZ
Luis Felipe Ferra Gomez, alias “Ferras”, an inmate who had escaped in September with others from La Toma, a medium security prison, was recaptured by soldiers who rescued a kidnapped person. They also captured two other criminals. He was serving a sentence for murder, and now faces more charges of kidnapping and probably organized crime.
At about 515pm Friday, four prison guards from the prison a short distance away were gunned down and killed.
