MEXICO*

The Mayor of Leon, Guanajuato, Richard Sheffield, has announced the dismantling of their auxiliary police force numbering 190 officers due to the danger. Early Saturday morning, gunmen chased and killed an unarmed 49 year old auxiliary officer, and wounded his partner. The auxiliary force was created 15 years ago mainly to monitor shops, banks, industries , offices and residential areas. They have always worked unarmed. Chihuahua, Chihuahua, Mexico

Four women and a child, waiting in front of a neighborhood clinic were gunned down Monday at about 2:30 pm, killing two of the women. No other information has been released.-Diario

Thirty six police officers total from the municipalities of Zuazua and Pesqueria have been arrested on warrants for their participation in the abduction and murder of two bodyguards for the Nuevo León state governor on June 15th. The bodyguards bodies were thrown in the street.

MEXICO

The Mexican military located a narco laboratory in the municipality of Ursula Galvan, Veracruz. One person was arrested. In all, authorities seized 200 liters of methamphetamine in solution, one ton 240 kilos of methamphetamine, 5,600 liters of ethanol, 4,000 liters of methylamine, 200 thousand liters of acetic anhydride, a thousand 410 liters of acetone, 825 kilos hydroxide sodium, 132 kilos of sodium acetate, 600 thousand liters of hydrochloric acid, 248 kilos of aluminum, 100 kilos of lead, 625 thousand kilos of tartaric acid, 15 metal containers of different sizes, 6 steel furnaces, 7 dryers, 3 steel mixers and a digital scale.-laPoliciaca.com

MONTERREY, NUEVO LEÓN

Shortly before 7 pm Monday evening, there was an attack against the officer bodyguards of the state governor, Rodrigo Medina. Authorities have not released any information, but a close source confirmed at least one person died.

SABINAS HIDALGO, NUEVO LEÓN**

Two Federal Police officers were assassinated by gunmen in four trucks. A physician accompanying a nearby funeral procession was wounded.

MATAMOROS, TAMAULIPAS

During a five hour shootout Saturday, a well known priest who hosted a popular local TV show was killed by a bullet to the chest. Further details regarding the killed or injured during the violence has not yet been released.


ESCOBEDO, NUEVO LEÓN

At least two gunmen were killed during a shootout between the military and cartel gunmen.


MOCHITLÁN, GUERRERO

A dismembered corpse was scattered on the street, left with a narco message. The victim was identified as a 33 year old public transit driver.


ZACATECAS

Mexican Marines captured a number of Zetas after a confrontation in which 15 were killed officially, but witness reports say 22. Seized were 10 AK-47 rifles, eight AR-15 rifles, a carbine mark Vulca Arms , a Ruger revolver, a Colt SMG, two thousand 687 cartridges, 210 ammo carriers, 15 kilos 447 grams 200 milligrams of marijuana, nine vehicles, among other things.


TLAJOMULCO DE ZÚÑIGA, JALISCO

An armed group attacked five men in the parking lot of a shopping center, leaving three dead and two gravely wounded.

COSTA RICA, SINALOA

Two men were beheaded while alive, with the assassins firing guns to attract attention and the police. The bodies were wrapped in plastic with the heads left in a cooler.


APAXTLA DE CASTREJÓN, GUERRERO

The Mexican military has located and destroyed an illegal commercial-type radio antenna, where it had been for 10 years. It was always guarded by cartel gunmen, and had not been reported by the property owner due to threats.


CHILPANCINGO, GUERRERO

A shootout Sunday morning left three soldiers wounded and three cartel gunmen dead. The shootout caused a panic among locals in the area.


ACAPULCO, GUERRERO

Cartel gunmen continue to target taxi drivers, especially from the Port of Acapulco. Three drivers were killed in 3 separate shootings, including one resulting in the taxi also being burned.


GUADALUPE, NUEVO LEÓN

Late Sunday evening there was a shootout between municipal police and gunmen. During the 15 minute shooting, two bad guys were killed and one captured. Two innocent bystanders were wounded. Authorities seized weapons, tactical equipment and radios.


TAXCO, GUERRERO

The LFM cartel left more than 10 narco messages around for public viewing.

EL ÁLAMO, NUEVO LEÓN

The Mexican military was on patrol when they discovered a Zeta narco camp. Although no one was arrested, the seized nine AR-15 rifles, six AK-47 rifles, two other rifles, a grenade launcher, about 600 rounds of ammo, 18 magazines, cartridge belts, radio equipment, mobile devices, 16 berets with the logo of Los Zetas; eight military style uniforms, 200 kilos of marijuana, a Nissan pickup, among other things. The guns had a yellow ribbon, with a message of encouragement from Miguel Angel Trevino, known as Z-40 ” A SALUTE FROM THE COMMANDER 40 for all troops .”


GUACHOCHI, CHIHUAHUA**

Two municipal police were on patrol when they were intercepted by gunmen and executed early Tuesday.
