Leaving a meeting with Chihuahua Governor Cesar Duarte Jaquez and federal officials, state Attorney General Carlos Salas said that criminal violence has increased to unprecedented levels, as the cartels have become more ruthless over the past several weeks. The villages of Guadalupe and Calvo, Chihuahua are facing a shortage of groceries due to attacks on suppliers, including not only robbery but drivers being shot. Prices have been increased, as store owners are having to restock themselves with the increased cost of transportation.-Diario

Municipal police officer was shot beside his unit. Civilians rushed to help, calling for help with his radio. Transported to the hospital, he died 24 hours later.

Municipal police officer was shot and killed while on duty.

CHIHUAHUA, CHIHUAHUA

A 22 year old reporter was killed and his 2 friends wounded.  They were shot while parked at a convenience store.

GUACHOCHI, CHIHUAHUA

A 53 year old man and his wife were gunned own in what authorities believe was a settling of accounts.

GUADALUPE, NUEVO LEÓN

A taxi was left parked in front of the police station with a human leg in the back seat. Inside the trunk was the rest of the cut up body in 6 parts. A narco message was left for the Mayor, same as the past 3 times.

MONTERREY, NUEVO LEÓN

Two men were left hanging from a pedestrian bridge over a main street with part of the leg on one of them cut off.

TEPIC, NAYARIT

Gunmen shot and killed a man at a well known, widely used city park on Sunday afternoon This occurred next to where children were playing.
