CHIHUAHUA, CHIHUAHUA
A mother and son were attacked inside their residence by gunmen. The son was shot and killed, and the mother wounded and transported to a hospital.
SAN JUANITO, CHIHUAHUA*
A few weeks ago a shootout between the military and gunmen resulted in four gunmen dead. Shortly after, a local police officer was kidnapped. His uniformed body has just been found half buried. He had been beaten, and shot 5 times.
MOCHITLÁN, GUERRERO
The bodies of three executed men were discovered this week. They were handcuffed and had been tortured.
TORREON, COAHUILA
On Monday, the 31st, two human heads were hung from a pedestrian bridge, and discovered by patrolling state police. Minutes later their bodies were found, butchered, with the pieces scattered. They remain unidentified.
CULIACAN, SINALOA
A group of men were playing football Monday evening, the 31st, when several gunmen entered the field. They located the two men they were looking for, and executed both.
GUAMUCHIL, SINALOA
The Mexican Army located a safe house here, where they seized marijuana, a couple of guns and ammo, and documentation.
TEMIXCO, MORELOS
The Mexican military responded to a citizen’s call and located a safe house. Inside they arrested four cartel members, and seized two handguns , six rifles, a grenade launcher attachment, 41 magazines, 4,954 cartridges, 50 grams of marijuana , and a vehicle.
SINALOA
A few days ago, narco banners appeared in Guasave and Los Mochis, directed to Governor Mario López Valdez, better known as Malov. The message says the Governor is involved with the Sinaloa cartel, and specifically names Joaquin ‘El Chapo’ Guzman.
CULIACAN, SINALOA*
On Tuesday, the lst, a municipal police officer was executed while off duty. He was identified as Jesús Arturo Yánez Machado.
CORDOBA, VERACRUZ
Nearly 200 municipal police officers staged a demonstration to protest claimed abuses by Mexican Marines. It began about 830 am, with the arrest of 2 officers by Marines while on duty, allegedly for carrying their firearms without proper credentials for doing so. By 230 pm, those 2 officers had been released.
CHIHUAHUA, CHIHUAHUA
On Thursday afternoon, three bodies were found in the heart of the city, dumped on the street. There were 2 men and a woman. The couple had beheaded, with the heads near the bodies. The other male was also beheaded, and had been dismembered. They remain unidentified.
CATORCE, SAN LUIS POTOSÍ
On Wednesday, the 2nd, the Mexican army received an anonymous tip that a group of gunmen were terrorizing the town. On arrival t the hotel where they we staying, the gunmen opened fire on the military. The military repelled the attack, with 2 bad guys dead and one injured. Additionally, 10 other gunmen were captured, and secured six rifles, two handguns, 70 magazines, 787 cartridges, two grenades, 300 doses of cocaine, marijuana, five radios, 53 caltrops (to flatten tires), tactical equipment, 31,100.00 pesos in cash and six vehicles.
CIUDAD JUÁREZ, CHIHUAHUA
Yesterday, the 4th of November, a man was executed directly in front of a kindergarten school while students were in class. The man was shot at least 18 times by an AK 47, destroying his face.
MOCORITO, SINALOA
The Mexican Army was patrolling this town near Piedras Negras, when they were attacked by gunmen from a building interior. Although the gunmen escaped, the military seized five long arms , 14 magazines, 1,835 rounds, a fragmentation grenade , different tactical equipment and three vehicles, with one armored.
SINALOA
It was a bloody Friday night in Sinaloa, with 15 people dying. The first incident occurred in Culiacan, at a volleyball court about 8pm, where people were playing. Gunmen arrived and opened fire on both players and spectators. Local paramedics confirmed that seven men died on the spot, and another died while receiving medical aid. At least 10 others were wounded and transported to various hospitals. An hour later, gunmen entered home and executed 3 persons. Three more bodies were found dumped along the highway, and then another was found in a blanket in the city of Culiacan.
