On Friday, it is reported that people here are frightened and in shock, with the whole town in mourning. The schools are closed, the city hall is closed, as a villager gives an account of what happened. A family was kidnapped on Tuesday, and then found on Thursday. Six people were killed : Ausencio Ramirez, uncle of the mayor, his wife, his daughter, the daughter of this one, less than six years old, a baby and grandfather. Witnesses reported: “The women were screaming that they do not do anything, Don Chencho begged them not to do anything to them or the baby, that he would do whatever they want.” But there was no mercy. Their cries mingled with the sound of bullets. People who were nearby, had to run and hide among the tombs of the cemetery, trying to save their lives in that sanctuary of death.
