SAN PEDRO, NUEVO LEÓN
Tuesday afternoon turned violent when gunmen attacked municipal police. The Mexican Army responded, and helped secure the scene. There were reports of wounded, but no details provided.
MONTERREY, NUEVO LEÓN
Later Tuesday afternoon, a man was shot and killed and dumped under an overpass.

Three guards from the Topo Chico prison were executed and dumped on Tuesday, each in a separate incident.
The media has been reporting that there were 35 bodies dumped here, but did not clarify these were whole bodies and there were another 5 bodies cut into pieces.
SAN LUIS POTOSI*
The chief of the State Police for San Luis Potosi was executed on Tuesday. He was found dead, in uniform, with signs of torture. He had served for 19 years.
At dawn Wednesday, several attacks occurred on police facilities throughout the city. A State Police barracks was attacked with two grenades, which failed to explode, and also rifle fire. There were no injuries. The next attack on a neighborhood station was also with two grenades, both exploding and wounding three officers. The next attack was on a facility in some condos, which resulted in property damage and three vehicles damaged.
CIENEGA DE FLORES, NUEVO LEÓN
Mexican Army was on patrol, and attempted to investigate a group. They came under fire, and responded, resulting in 5 bad guys dead. Various weapons were secured.
GENERAL TREVIÑO, NUEVO LEÓN
The Deputy Attorney general of the State of Guanajuato announced that a commercial bus traveling to Tamaulipas from Guanajuato was stopped, and 13 people kidnapped from it. They were put into a truck, and no one has heard anything more.
