LAW ENFORCEMENT Alert: On August 5th, EPIC put out an Officer Safety bulletin on cartels. Law enforcement that have not received or seen this is highly encouraged to do so ASAP.
Recommendation: Highly recommend that readers check out this site. Mexodus is a student reporting project that documents the flight of middle class families, professionals and businesses to safer areas due to cartel violence and widespread petty crime in border cities such as Ciudad Juárez. U.S. and Mexican college students have produced extraordinary work guided by five professors. We can’t fully understand the geopolitical conditions south of us without knowing the effects of the violence on those living in the midst of it. How it affects them may be how it will end up also affecting us.
